Sweetness comes from banana and sultanas--just enough to be slightly sweet. Filling and energizing in the morning!

Recipe Ingredients for No Sugar Sweet Oatmeal

1/2 cup oatmeal
1 tbsp powdered milk
1/4 tsp mixed spice (cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg)
1/2 tbsp sultanas
1/4 cup banana, sliced
1 egg
1/3 cup water

Recipe Directions for No Sugar Sweet Oatmeal

  1. Combine dry ingredients.

  2. Beat egg and add it to the oatmeal, making sure all dry ingredients are incorporated.

  3. Add sultanas and banana, coat thoroughly.

  4. Add water and mix well (may need a little less than 1/2 cup).

  5. Microwave until congealed but not firm (my microwave takes 40 seconds, but I also use hot water in the previous step).

  6. Stir and eat!
