Recipe Ingredients for No Bean Red Chili with Red Wine

2 portion ( yield from 1/2 lb raw meat ) Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
2 clove Garlic
1 large Onions
2 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Cumin Seed
1 serving Original Hot Sauce
28 oz Crushed Tomatoes
0.25 glass (3.5 fl oz) Wine, Table, Red

Recipe Directions for No Bean Red Chili with Red Wine

  1. Brown ground beef, chopped onion and minced garlic in a stock pot or large Dutch Oven. Drain off excess grease or you can put the mixture in a colandar and rinse it with warm water.

  2. Season the mixture with chili powder, oregano, cumin and 1 tsp. hot sauce. Stir in one can of crushed tomatos (28 oz) and 1/4 cup of red wine. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for about 1 hour or longer if you have time remembering to stir frequently.

  3. Can be eaten alone or over Basmati Rice if desired. :)
