No Bake Cookies Recipe

Easy and does not even require an oven! Only dirty one pan too

Recipe Ingredients for No Bake cookies

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk 1%
2 cups sugar
4 T. Cocoa powder
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 t vanilla

Recipe Directions for No Bake cookies

  1. Boil butter, milk, sugar and cocoa in a medium sized pot for 1 minute.

  2. Important! Make sure it is at a rapid boil for ONLY one minute.

  3. Turn off heat and stir in oatmeal and vanilla.

  4. Stir in peanut butter.

  5. Drop by rounded spoonfulls onto wax paper.

  6. I like to shape into a cookie but that is optional.

  7. Let chill on the counter for two-three hours, or, to speed up the process, put in the fridge.

  8. Stor cookies inbetween wax paper either in a cool cupboard or in the fridge.
