No Bake Cookies Recipe

This is a no bake cookie, also known as a boiled cookie.

Recipe Ingredients for no bake cookies

3 cups white sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa
1 1/2 stick butter
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cup reduced fat peanut butter
1 1/2 tablespoon vanilla
4 1/2 cups quick cooking oats

Recipe Directions for no bake cookies

  1. In a pot, bring sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk to a boil (stir this a lot because all of those things burn easily).

  2. Let boil for one minute.

  3. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla, and oatmeal. Mix well.

  4. Drop by spoonful onto wax paper and let cool (you can do that in the fridge or just let them sit out and that works too).
