Variation of Chili con carne listed in the Pillsbury Cookbook.

Recipe Ingredients for Nicci's Chili

2 pounds ground beef
60 oz diced tomato
15 oz light red kidney bean
15 oz chili bean
1 oz chili seasoning
2 cloves minced garlic
16 oz tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1 tbsp black pepper
1/8 cup onion
1 tbsp hot sauce

Recipe Directions for Nicci's Chili

In a dutch oven, Brown Ground beef with onion 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and rinse. Add all ingredients except beans to the meat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in beans and simmer 20 minutes. Serve with shredded cheese and garlic bread. Serving size is 1 1/4 cups.
