Recipe Ingredients for Newest Salba Fruitnutty Granola Bars

4 T walnuts
6 T craisins (actually, 1/2 cup of fruit/nut mix will suffice for walnuts and craisins)
10 T flax meal (actually Salba)
2 T rice syrup
2 T maple syrup
3 T brown sugar
1/2 cup oatmeal (old-fashioned)
1 1/2 t cinnamon (also 1/2 t Also Salt)
1 cup puffed rice (actually 1/2 cup Erowhon puffed rice)
1 1/2 scoop protein powder (actually 2 heaping scoops)
1 T coconut oil
2 T Almond Breeze

Recipe Directions for Newest Salba Fruitnutty Granola Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  2. Prepare a glass 9x9 baking dish with Butter-flavored Pam spray.

  3. Mix solid ingredients.

  4. Melt syrups, brown sugar, and coconut oil in a small saucepan on the stove. Add in the Also Salt and cinnamon.

  5. Mix in the rest of the ingredients.

  6. Bake at 300 oven for 20 minutes or until golden.
