A nice crunchy, yet chewy dough, perfect for any kind of pizza. Use whole wheat flour for a healthier (yet not as tasty) version. This yields 2 pizzas (12 slices each)

Recipe Ingredients for New York Style Pizza Dough

3.5 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
12 oz Water
2 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1 tsp Yeast
1 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for New York Style Pizza Dough

  1. Mix all dry ingredients, add water.

  2. Mix time: 12 minutes (low to medium speed)

  3. First rise :1 hour - pull down.

  4. Second rise in the fridge: 30 minutes - pull down.

  5. Third rise in the fridge: 10 minutes - ready to use.

  6. Cook on hot pizza stone, at max temperature. (250 degrees celcius).
