Good ol' fashioned baking powder biscuits.

Recipe Ingredients for New Orleans Biscuits

2 oz All Vegetable Shortening
2 cup Enriched Unbleached White Flour
1 cup Whole Milk
1 tsp Salt, Table
4 tsp Baking Powder

Recipe Directions for New Orleans Biscuits

Cut shortening into sifted dry ingredients. Gradually add milk to form a soft dough. Knead 1/3 minute on lightly floured board. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake in 450 degree oven for 12-15 minutes.
