Recipe Ingredients for New England Pot Roast

4 lb. beef
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
8 oz. horseradish
1 cup water
8 small red potatoes, cut in half
8 medium carrots, cut into fourths
2 yellow onions cut into fourths

Recipe Directions for New England Pot Roast

  1. Brown roast on all sides in a 12-inch skillet

  2. Mix horseradish and salt and pepper.

  3. Add vegetables to slow cooker.

  4. Place browned meat on top of vegetables. Coat with horseradish mixture. Pour water in slowly.

  5. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
