A very tasty low-fat, low-calorie chowder.

Recipe Ingredients for New England Clam Chowder

1 cup water
1 cube Knorr stock cubes chicken
142 g Cloverleaf baby clams
4 cups 1% milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp parsley flakes
1 tsp basil leaves
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp butter
1 large potato, diced
1 tbsp flour

Recipe Directions for New England Clam Chowder

  1. Dissolve chicken stok in water.

  2. Set aside flour and add remaining ingredients.

  3. Simmer until potatoes are tender.

  4. Mix flour with a little water (or milk) and gently stir in. A whisk works well.

  5. Continue to simmer for 30 minutes then serve.
