Recipe Ingredients for New crispy orange chicken

4 tblsp soy sauce
2 tblsp black beans, mashed into a paste
3/4 tblsp honey
2 tsp white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp oil
1 dash pepper
1 dash garlic salt
1 dash cayenne
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tblsp orange zest
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cornstarch
28 oz chicken breast
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup flour
2 tblsp oil

Recipe Directions for New crispy orange chicken

  1. mix first 13 ingredients and set in fridge

  2. whisk egg salt and pepper

  3. dip cubed chicken in egg and than in cornstartch/flour mixture and fry in heated oil

  4. pour

  5. remove chicken to paper towel to drain and pour oil out of pan

  6. pour glaze mixture into pan and bring to boil for 3 minutes, reduce heat and simmer one or two more minutes

  7. pour glaze over chicken

  8. serve over chicken broth infused rice with herbs or salad or plain as an appetizer

  9. veggies for rice or salad: red bell pepper, mushroom, grated carrot, snow peas, opt- almond, but i like to use some crunched up dry ramen noodles for crunch instead of almonds to save a few calories
