Recipe Ingredients for New Buttermilk Biscuits

1/3 c sunflower oil
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/3 c all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 c lowfat buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda

Recipe Directions for New Buttermilk Biscuits

  1. ?Combine baking soda and buttermilk, stir and let stand for 5 min

  2. ?Sift dry ingrediants together

  3. ?Cut in shortening

  4. ?Add Buttermilk mixture

  5. ?combine

  6. ?Roll onto flour

  7. ?cut and bake with biscuits just touching at 475 for 10 minutes
