Really good, but high in calorie. The original recipe made 48, but I put exactly 1 tablespoon for each cookie, and make about 72. That lowered the calorie count a fair bit. However, looking for ways to make it lower calorie. Think I'll just take out the morsels.

Recipe Ingredients for Nestle Toll House Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 cups quick or old fashioned oats
1 2/3 cups Premier Butterscotch Morsels

Recipe Directions for Nestle Toll House Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375F

  2. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a small bowl.

  3. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl.

  4. Gradually beat in flour mixture.

  5. Stir in oats and morsels.

  6. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

  7. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies, 9 to 10 minutes for crisp cookies.

  8. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

  9. (Makes about 72 cookies.)
