Recipe Ingredients for Nerys' Corned beef hash with rice and vegetables

300 g corned beef
1 medium onion
2 cloves garlic
2 medium carrots
1/4 cup butternut squash
1 cup cabbage
1 1/2 cup broccoli
2 1/2 teaspoons butter
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 cup green beans
1/2 cup celery
2 cups white rice
5 g bay leaves
2 sprays pam

Recipe Directions for Nerys' Corned beef hash with rice and vegetables

  1. Add bay leaves and 1 teaspoon of butter to rice and 2 1/2 cups water. Cook rice.

  2. In Pam fry more denser vegetables with teaspoon sugar. Add water to steam in the last few moments. Strain into bowl. In Pam again fry diced onion and garlic, then add corned beef, celery and cabbage. Add seasoning.

  3. Add precooked veg and cook a few more minutes. Add to cooked rice.
