I need a list of low-vitamin K foods because I take a blood thinner.

I take a blood thinner, 10 mg daily, and I  need a list of vegetables and squash low in vitamin K.  I need to reduce my dose of warfarin by eating items with less vitamin k.


Actually, you can eat any food except for those that are sky-high in vitamin K. Those foods include all greens (beet, turnip, mustard and dandelion greens, kale, collards, Swiss chard, spinach), broccoli and Brussels sprouts, scallions and leeks, endive and green leaf lettuce, asparagus, okra, soybeans (edamame), soybean oil, rhubarb, prunes, beef liver, and green tea. Large amounts of vitamin K can work against the blood thiner, warfarin, to decrease its effect.  Conversely, cranberry juice and alcohol can increase the effect of warfarin.
