Adjusted for how Darcy made it! Do not usually use all the coconut milk - only 1/2 can!

Recipe Ingredients for Navratan Korma

1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1/2 tsp California Style Minced Garlic made from Fresh Garlic
1/2 tsp Ginger Root
8 oz Tomato Products
1/2 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne
1/2 tsp Turmeric, Ground
1 1/2 tbsp Curry Powder
2 tsp Coriander Seed
4 grams Indian Spices Garam Masala
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 cup, sliced Carrots
1/2 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
1/2 cup Beans, Snap, Green
1 cup Potatoes, Boiled
1 tsp Salt, Table
13 fl oz Premium

Recipe Directions for Navratan Korma

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Stir onion into the skillet, and cook until tender.

  3. Mix in garlic and ginger, and cook 1 minute.

  4. Stir in tomato sauce, cayenne pepper, turmeric, coriander, curry, and garam masala.

  5. Pour in water, and mix in carrots, green bell pepper, beans, peas, whatever sounds tasty, and potatoes.

  6. Bring to a boil.

  7. Reduce heat to low, and simmer 20-40 minutes, until potatoes are tender. ( mostly until the veggies are a good consistancy.)

  8. Stir milk into the skillet with the vegetables.

  9. Bring to a boil, and continue cooking 2 to 3 minutes.

  10. Season with salt to taste.
