Steamed vegetables in tomato-yogurt sauce. Milk, in this recipe, is used in place of yogurt.

Recipe Ingredients for Navratan Korma

4 cups broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, mushrooms, peas
1 cup tomato paste
1 cup 2% milk
1/4 cup olive oil
1/3 tsp salt
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp curry
1 tbsp coriander, crushed
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tbsp garlic
4 cups basmati rice

Recipe Directions for Navratan Korma

  1. Steam vegetables and let dry.

  2. Combine spices, vegetables, and oil in pan. Heat until soft.

  3. Add milk (plain yogurt can be used in place of milk for a thicker sauce) and tomato paste. Heat mixture, stirring occasionally, until it looks blended.

  4. Serve over basmati or whole grain rice.
