Recipe Ingredients for Nash's Chili

4 lbs.Ground Beef
2 lbs. Pork, Ground
6 cups onion, yellow, diced
4 T garlic, chopped
8 T. jalapeno or serrano chilies, processed
4 T. cayenne pepper
4 T. chili powder
4 T. cumin
2 T. black pepper
1 T. red pepper flakes
4 T. salt
54 oz. green chilies, chopped
102 oz. tomatoe, diced
1/2 gallon pork broth
108 oz. Kidney beans, cooked
432 oz. Pinto beans, cooked

Recipe Directions for Nash's Chili

  1. Brown meat, add onions, garlic & peppers and sauté till tender... Add remaining ingredients (except beans).

  2. Bring up to heat and simmer approximately hour.

  3. Rinse and strain kidney bean... Separate beans equally between (2) cambros and add meat mixture to each and fold in well.

  4. If during slow times, omit 1/2 the beans and zip bag & freeze 1/2 of meat mixture.
