Recipe Ingredients for napa cabbage salad

1 head napa cabbage
1 1/2 cups slivered almonds
2 T sesame seeds
3 T butter
4 cup,+chopped+or+diced chicken breasts
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/4 c rice wine vinegar
2 T low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 c sugar

Recipe Directions for napa cabbage salad

  1. cook chicken, chop into bite size chunks and place in refrigerator to cool

  2. sautee almonds and sesame seeds in butter just until toasty brown. Watch carefully as it will burn easily. Drain on a paper towel.

  3. combine vegetable oli, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce and sugar in a small sauce pan and cook over medium heat, watching carefully. Bring mixture to a boil for 1 minute, and remove from heat. Cool in refregerator.

  4. Chop napa cabbage from tips of leaves toward stem, almost to the core

  5. Finally, toss all the ingredients together, using only as much dressing as necessary to coat lightly.
