Vegetarian version of a korean favorite

Recipe Ingredients for Napa Cabbage Miso Soup

2/3 head Napa cabbage, chopped
4 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon safflower oil
2 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon chickpea flour
1 cup vegetable broth
3 cups water
2 tablespoons Vegetarian Organic Mellow White Miso Soybean Paste
2 scallions, chopped

Recipe Directions for Napa Cabbage Miso Soup

  1. Toast paprika and turmeric in oil

  2. In a large pot, add chopped cabbage,garlic, paprika turmeric mixture, onion powder and flour.

  3. Simmer 20-30 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.

  4. Whisk miso with broth in a separate bowl, and return to pot.

  5. Add scallions, salt and pepper to taste
