My bolognese. Makes 12 cups. One cup is serving size.

Recipe Ingredients for Nancy

2 carrots
1 stalk celery
2 T olive oil
56 oz. crushed tomatoes
6 oz. tomato paste
1 lb. italian sausage
1 3/4 lbs ground beef
1 large onion
3/4 cup wine
2 T garlic
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Nancy

  1. Saute veggies.

  2. Saute beef, then sausage.

  3. Deglaze with wine and broth. Cook wine down.

  4. Add all ingredients together.

  5. Saute for an hour or more.
