Meatballs for meatball sandwiches or for spaghetti.

Recipe Ingredients for Nana's meatballs

2 pound ground beef, 96% lean
1 pound sausage, light
1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs, italian
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp italian seasonings
4 eggs

Recipe Directions for Nana's meatballs

Mix ingredients together, form into meatballs, and bake in the oven until brown. Golf ball size meatballs will yeild about 6 per serving. Bake on a broiler rack/pan and a lot of the fat will drip off and into the bottom pan to reduce the amount of fat. I also buy light sausage when I can find it to reduce the fat totals. Turn once during baking for even browning. Soak in your favorite spaghetti sauce overnight if desired. Great for sandwiches.
