A very tasty and moist recipe for a banana bread treat.

Recipe Ingredients for Nana's Banana Bread

1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup water, boiling
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups banana, mashed

Recipe Directions for Nana's Banana Bread

  1. cream margarine and brown sugar together.

  2. add the egg and vanilla and stir.

  3. dissolve the baking soda in the boiling water and add to mixture. Stir.

  4. Mash the bananas until they are a nice, smooth consistency. Add to mixture and stir.

  5. Add all the dry ingredients and mix together until you have a nice doughy consistency.

  6. Prepare your bread pan and fill with dough.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes.
