By adding homemade tortilla chips with no salt and no fat, you reduce the sodium and fat in these nachos.

Recipe Ingredients for Nachos

35 g tortilla chips
121 g corn tortillas
2 tsp. olive oil
15 g onion, diced
166 g chicken breast, shredded
74 g salsa
126 g garbanzo beans
64 g black olives, sliced
35 g roasted red pepper, diced
124 g reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Nachos

Cut corn tortillas into 6 pie shaped sections; toss with 1 tsp. olive oil and bake on cookie sheet in 375 degree oven until almost crisp. Pour into 9x13 pan and add tortilla chips. Saute onion in pan with 1 tsp. oil and add chicken to warm;mix in beans and salsa. Top tortilla chips with chicken bean mix, olives, red pepper, and cheese. Bake at 375 degrees until cheese is melted.
