Great hoosier rolls. Can also be used for cinnamon rolls.

Recipe Ingredients for Myla's Yeast Rolls

7 tsp yeast
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp salt
3 sticks butter
12 ounce milk, low fat (canned)
16 ounces water
3 eggs
8 cups flour

Recipe Directions for Myla's Yeast Rolls

  1. Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar. Let rest.

  2. Combine butter, canned milk with 1 can of water, and 1 tbsp salt. Warm in microwave until butter is melted.

  3. Stir into yeast mixture.

  4. Whip the 3 eggs. Add to mixture.

  5. Slowly begin adding flour - 1 cup at a time. I mix all ingredients in the kitchen aid. Keep adding flour until batter is sticky yet pulls away from the side of the bowl.

  6. Turn out onto a floured board. Need until dough just loses the stickiness. Place in greased bowl with a warm wet towel over. Let rise 1-1/2 - 2 hours. Punch down. Form into rolls. Place in greased pan with warm wet towel over.

  7. Preheat over to 400. Bake rolls 15 minutes.
