No sweetener added--this may be more liquidy than other pulled chicken recipes, but it's healthier, too! Makes a great open faced sandwich.

Recipe Ingredients for My version of pulled chicken

2 oz reduced-sodium tomato sauce
3/4 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/4 tablespoon paprika
1/4 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon salt
12 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast
1/4 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced

Recipe Directions for My version of pulled chicken

  1. Stir tomato sauce, vinegar, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and salt in a 2 quart saucepan. Add chicken, onion and garlic; stir to combine.

  2. Put the lid on and cook at low heat until the chicken can be pulled apart.

  3. Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and shred with a fork. Return the chicken to the sauce, stir well and serve.
