This is a basic recipe, which I adjust to taste on how it tastes that day. I've added as much as 4T. cocoa to this recipe, I prefer Trappy's Red Devil cayenne pepper hot sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for My version of Cinci Chilli, in a crock pot

3 lbs. ground beef
36 oz. tomato paste
36 oz. water
4 T. chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
8 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tsp hot sauce
3 T. worchestershire sauce
1 large onion, whole but peeled
2 T. cocoa

Recipe Directions for My version of Cinci Chilli, in a crock pot

  1. Do Not Brown the ground beef. Just combine all ingredients in at least a 5.5 qt. crockpot. Set on High for 6 hours, or low for about 8-9 hours.

  2. Serve over spaghetti.
