Makes 1 serving



yummy and satisfying lunch sandwich. I use Dempsters 100% whole wheat at 230 calories for 2 slices. Add other veggies as desired and recalculate nutrition values. i.e. tomato slices, mushrooms, sweet pepper slices, onion, dill pickle Or substitute cheese whiz or a cheese slice for the cream cheese

Recipe Ingredients for my veggie sandwich

2 slices whole wheat bread
2 T cream cheese spread
1/2 avocado, medium
1 oz. mixed salad greens
1/2 cup sliced cucumber
1 dash salt and pepper

Recipe Directions for my veggie sandwich

  1. spread cream cheese spread (I use garden vegetable flavour) on each slice of bread

  2. top one slice with avocado slices, mixed salad greens and cucumber slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste

  3. Place other slice on top and cut in half to serve
