Original recipie uses 1/4 cup oil in place of applesauce and 1/4 cup sugar in place of splenda and no oat bran. (23.5 g of oat bran is 1/4 cup).

Recipe Ingredients for My tweek on Jill's Muffins

2 cups flour
1/8 cup splenda for baking
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup applesauce
1 egg
1 cup milk
23 1/2 grams oat bran
1 cup blueberries

Recipe Directions for My tweek on Jill's Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 400* Grease muffin pans.

  2. Mix dry ingredients together several times.

  3. Beat egg and then add milk and applesauce to it.

  4. Stir it all together and then add fresh blueberries.

  5. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake for 20-25 mins.

  6. Can use 1/2 to 1 cup mashed bananas for flavor but that will change nutrition breakdown.
