Recipe Ingredients for MY THANKSGIVING BRAISED APPLES AND ONIONS

1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 T margarine
2 medium onions
1 1/2 pounds apples

Recipe Directions for MY THANKSGIVING BRAISED APPLES AND ONIONS

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients and stir well and set aside.

  2. Melt margarine over medium-high heat in nonstick skillet.

  3. Add onions, saute 5 minutes. Add apples and brown sugar mixture; cover and cook 18 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and cook additional 4 minutes or until tender.
