Chili with loads of root vegetables

Recipe Ingredients for My Special Chili

1 swede
2 carrots, chopped
1 tomatoes, canned
2 onions, chopped
2 potatoes, chopped,
2 beans, canned, drained
2 tbs chili powder
1 apple, chopped
1 tbs creme fraiche
1/2 cup lentils
1 cup vegetable broth

Recipe Directions for My Special Chili

  1. Soak lentils. Cook them in the vegetable broth.

  2. Add canned tomatoes, chili powder, and some crushed chili and garlic if desired. Add potatoes and let boil for a while.

  3. add the chopped swede and cook.

  4. add the rest of the ingredients. Let simmer untill you want to eat. Make sure the swede and the potatoes are tender before serving.
