Recipe Ingredients for My pasta sauce

2 tbsp olive oil
9 cloves garlic
3 lbs Pork loin or sausages
84 oz whole tomatoes
16 oz tomato sauce
18 oz tomato paste
30 oz diced tomatoes
4 cups of water
2 tbsp Basil,
1 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp of sugar
2 chopped green peppers
2 chopped onions
2 cups baby bella mushrooms
1/2 cup red wine
2 tsp crushed red peppers
1 onion

Recipe Directions for My pasta sauce

  1. Chop garlic and cook in olive oil avoiding burning. Brown meat in the garlic/oil mixture.

  2. Once meat is brown, add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and paste.

  3. add water to the pot.

  4. Add spices by taste

  5. Add chopped vegetables

  6. add 1 whole onion

  7. cook for 1 hour add mushrooms

  8. Cook for additional 30 minutes add 1/4-1/2 cup of wine and sugar.

  9. After 2 hours add 2 shakes of crushed pepper.

  10. If using pork loin remove before it ?breaks?.

  11. Let it simmer in low to med heat to reduce sauce. Cooking time 3-4 hours or until desired thickness is achieved
