Makes 1 serving

Hearty filling oatmeal. Your choice if you put butter, or sugar or milk on it. But the dried fruit and coconut sweeten it up also.

Recipe Ingredients for My Oatmeal

4 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1/2 cup (not packed) Raisins, Seedless
6 tbsp Coconut Unsweetened
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 oz Currants
2 fl oz Vanilla
2 tbsp Essential Ground Flaxseed, Organic

Recipe Directions for My Oatmeal

  1. Make oats - use half smaller quick cooking oats and half big flake oats.

  2. Add in fground flax seed

  3. Add in dried fruit and coconut as soon as it thickens up. (my dried fruit is combinations of raisin types, currants, mango, apple, craisins, cheeries and so forth).

  4. Sometimes I add in seeds too (sunflower, pumpkin, or nuts) and you can use whole flax seed also.

  5. Or you can change half a cup - cup of oats and add in red river instead.
