My mom always made this chicken soup.

Recipe Ingredients for My mom's chicken soup

2 breasts of chicken
1 large zucchini
3 medium potatoes
1 1/2 cups carrots
2 ears of corn
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
6 cups water

Recipe Directions for My mom's chicken soup

  1. Cut all vegetables in 1 in chunks

  2. Clean chicken and season with salt and garlic powder

  3. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil

  4. Add the chicken

  5. When the chicken is white, add the vegetables

  6. Bring to a simmer and cook until all vegetables are tender

  7. Taste for flavor and add more seasonings if desired.
