Recipe Ingredients for My Lasagna

4 1/2 oz dry pasta
28 oz crushed tomatoes
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
16 oz light ricotta cheese
10 oz frozen spinach
1/2 c grated parmesan
2 eggs
1 1/4 lbs part-skim mozzarella

Recipe Directions for My Lasagna

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Spread 1/4 c TJ's Tuscano Marinara in the bottom of a 8x12 glass pan.

  3. Thaw and drain the spinach; sqeeze dry.

  4. Brown ground beef; mix with remaining marinara; set aside.

  5. In a medium mixing bowl combine ricotta, spinach, parmesan, and eggs. Stir until well mixed; set aside.

  6. Layer in this order:

  7. - 3 noodles (do not cook first)

  8. - 1/3 mozzarella

  9. - 1/2 ricotta mixture

  10. - 1/2 tomato/beef mixture

  11. - 3 noodles

  12. - 1/3 mozzarella

  13. - 1/2 ricotta mixture

  14. - 1/2 tomato/beef mixture

  15. - 1/3 mozzarella

  16. Cover lightly w/ foil and bake 1 hour; uncover; bake until cheese starts to brown. Noodles will remain al dente.
