Almost like apple pie for breakfast!

Recipe Ingredients for My kind of breakfast burrito

1 tortilla
1 med apple
1 tbs chopped walnuts
1 dash cinnamon
1 dash nutmeg
1 dash cloves
1/4 c nonfat yogurt, plain
1 dash vanilla extract
1/4 t sugar

Recipe Directions for My kind of breakfast burrito

  1. Chop apples into small bites, add walnuts. Fry in pan with small amount of Pam. Add spices to taste (I used a minuscule amount of nutmeg and cloves. Mace might be a good addition, too.) Fry till apples are soft. Heat tortilla in microwave. Go ahead and guild the lily with your own version of vanilla yogurt. Mix plain yogurt with vanilla and sugar (I use agave nectar which has similar calories and blends in better)

  2. I used Trader Joe's Organic Wheat Flour and Corn Tortillas which have 110 calories, not the 52 this analysis.

  3. Alternately, try steaming the apples in a veggie steamer, sprinkle with spices when done and you can even put the tortilla on top of the steamer to warm it.
