My recipe for steel cut oatmeal made in the crockpot, with toppings added.

Recipe Ingredients for My homemade oatmeal

1 cup uncooked steel cut oats
1 cups water
4 cups nonfat milk
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 medium fuji apple, diced
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup almonds, diced
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup oat bran
1/4 cup ground flax seeds
1 cup frozen blueberries

Recipe Directions for My homemade oatmeal

Put liquids and oats in crockpot with apple and spices. Cook on low until done. Spoon into cups and add blueberries. Add nuts and chews when serving.
