made from old fashioned rolled oats

Recipe Ingredients for My healthy oat waffles

4 cups Old fashioned oats
5 eggs
1 1/2 cup 1% milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons canola oil

Recipe Directions for My healthy oat waffles

  1. Mix all dry ingredients and pulse in cuisinart until oats are grinded (not to point of flour)

  2. Mix wet ingredients in food processor.

  3. add dry ingredients and pulse for 30 seconds.

  4. Let sit for about 5-10 minutes so that the oats absorb some of the liquid.

  5. Heat waffle gridle and cook.

  6. Add chopped fresh fruit to change flavor.

  7. Freeze extra and reheat in toaster.
