Vegtables and ground turkey. This is a mix of sisters recipe and Vegtable lasagna found online.

Recipe Ingredients for My healthier lasagna

1 tsp olive oil
1/2 pound ground turkey
1/2 c sliced carrots
1/2 c chopped red bell pepper
1/2 c chopped red onion
1 c spaghetti squash
8 ounces 2% cottage cheese
2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 pounds spaghetti sauce
6 5/8 ounces whole wheat lasagna noodles

Recipe Directions for My healthier lasagna

  1. Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat. Add vegtables and cook for 5 minutes. Add pasta sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 min.

  2. In a small saucepan, cook ground turkey until brown.

  3. In a sperate pan cook noodles for 10 minutes and then drain.

  4. Mix cottage cheese and 1 1/2 cups mozarella cheese

  5. Layer with noodles, 1/2 hamburger sauce, 3/4 cheese mix, noodles, 1/2 hamburger sauce, 1/4 cheese mix. Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top.

  6. Cover with foil.

  7. Cood at 350 for 1 hr. Cook until the cheese on top is melted.
