A modified version I found in a magazine.

Recipe Ingredients for My Fruit Compote GF

2 oranges, diced
2 apples, diced
1 c prunes, diced
1 c apricots, diced
2 c water
1 1/2 c orange juice

Recipe Directions for My Fruit Compote GF

  1. Steep one tea bag in one cup water, then add one more cup water for weak tea base.

  2. Add 2 T sugar (or less to taste)

  3. Add orange juice

  4. Dice oranges, apples, prunes, and apricots and put into weak tea mixture.

  5. Allow to set in refrigerator at least 24 hours to make a "syrup."

  6. Good with yogurt and cereal.
