Recipe Ingredients for My French Bread

1 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
1 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp dry yeast

Recipe Directions for My French Bread

  1. Add one cup of cold water to mixer

  2. Add salt, sugar, olive oil and honey

  3. Add flour and dry yeast.

  4. Mix for 40 minutes and let rise for an hour.

  5. Remove and knead to remove air. Shape into French loaf and place on oiled cookie sheet.

  6. Cover with damp cloth and allow to rise for an hour. Make three small slits in top of loaf and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

  7. Remove to rack and cool for ten minutes before slicing.
