Recipe Ingredients for My Favorite Granola

2.5 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
0.5 cup Coconut Flakes
0.33 cup pieces or chips Walnuts, English
0.33 cup Sunflower Kernels
0.125 cup Wheat Germ, Toasted, Plain
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
0.33 cup (8 fl oz) Water
0.33 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
9 tsp packed Sugars, Brown
2 tbsp Honey, Strained Or Extracted

Recipe Directions for My Favorite Granola

  1. In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients; set aside. In a small saucepan, combine the water, oil, brown sugar and honey. Cook and stir over medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until heated through. Pour over oat mixture and toss to coat.

  2. Transfer to a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Bake at 300 for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 4 cups
