Recipe Ingredients for My Coleslaw

1/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup mayo
1 1/2 tbsp cider vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp lemon or lime juice
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 cups coleslaw mix, shredded green and red cabbage with carrots
1 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
8 green onions, minced
1 hot pepper

Recipe Directions for My Coleslaw

  1. Combine buttermilk, mayo, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl or glass measuring cup.

  2. In a very large bowl, combine cabbages, cilantro, onions, and jalapeno. Toss to combine.

  3. Pour dressing over and toss. Chill salad about 20 min before serving.

  4. Salad will reduce down quite a bit the longer it sits.
