Recipe Ingredients for My Banana bread

1 3/4 cup 100% whole wheat flour
1/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup Splenda
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
225 grams mashed banana, 1 cup
1/3 cup apple sauce
2 tbsp skim milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup almonds, toasted and chopped

Recipe Directions for My Banana bread

  1. Mix 1 cup of flour, sugar, Splenda, baking powder and baking soda in large mixing bowl. Add mashed banana, apple sauce, and milk. Beat with electric mixer on low until blended then on high for 2 minutes more. Add eggs and remaining flour, beat till blended. Stir in nuts.

  2. Pour batter into a greased 8x4x2 inch loaf pan.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before turning out of pan. Cool completely. Wrap in prastic wrap and let rest overnight before serving.
