Indian minced beef with peas and potatoes. Serve with basmati rice.

Recipe Ingredients for mutter keema

1 lb lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 tbs minced garlic
1 tbs minced ginger
3 cups frozen peas
3 medium red potatoes, chopped
3 tablespoon curry powder
2 tbs vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for mutter keema

Fry onions in oil until just soft Add garlic and ginger and stir for two minutes. Add curry powder and cook, stirring for another few minutes. Add gorund beef and cook, breaking beef up till browned. Add potatoes. Stir over medium heat for 5 minutes. Then add approximately 1/4 c water to pan. Cover and cook over low to medium heat until potatoes are soft. Add frozen peas and a little water, cover and cook until peas are done. Garnish with plenty of fresh coriander leaves if desired.
