delicious chicken dish! I served it with broiled green beans (hot yet still crunchy!) and it was great.

Recipe Ingredients for mustard and brandy chicken

4 unit+yield+from+1+lb+ready-to-cook+chicken chicken breasts
3 cloves garlic, minced
16 oz brandy
2 T butter
2 T olive oil
1 T dijon mustard
1 T stone ground mustard
1/2 c heavy cream
12 c low sodium chicken broth

Recipe Directions for mustard and brandy chicken

  1. halve chicken breasts, sprinkle with salt and pepper

  2. cook breast halves in a large pan with the olive oil and butter

  3. cook until brown and cooked through

  4. set chicken aside on a plate

  5. add garlic to pan, stir until fragrant

  6. add brandy

  7. add mustards and stir

  8. add heavy cream

  9. add chicken broth

  10. add chicken breasts back to pan with sauce, including any plate drippings

  11. cook for about five minutes with chicken nestled in sauce

  12. serve on a plate with a bit of sauce drizzled over
