Mushrooms on Toast - made with Half Fat Creme Fraiche but I couldn't find that in ingredients so have used half the amount of cream in the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Mushrooms on Toast

1 slices wholewheat bread
1 tsp olive oil
100 g portobello mushrooms, sliced
1 cloves garlic, finely chopped
5 g cream
1/2 tsp chopped parsley
1/4 tsp lemon zest
1 salt
1 black pepper

Recipe Directions for Mushrooms on Toast

  1. Heat a small frying pan until really hot then add the oil and mushrooms stir-fry on a high heat for 3 - 4 minutes, or until browned. If the mushrooms release water then the pan is not hot enough! For the last minute of cooking, add in the garlic.

  2. Stir through the crème fraiche, parsley and lemon zest, season with salt and pepper then serve the mushrooms poured over the toast.
