Recipe Ingredients for Mushroom Stroganoff

448 grams Mushrooms, Portabella
1 onion Yellow Onion
2 tsp Salt, Table
56 7/10 grams Wine
8 fl oz(240 g) Organic Vegetable Broth
12 oz Egg Noodles
1.5 tbsp Garlic Powder
16 oz Light Sour Cream
1 serving Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour

Recipe Directions for Mushroom Stroganoff

  1. Saute onion in olive oil until translucent. Season with garlic, 2 tbsp thyme, and salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Add mushrooms and continue to saute until mushrooms are browned thoroughly and have released most of their moisture.

  3. Set mushroom mixture aside and deglaze with wine and vegetable broth. Boil and reduce by 1/3 before adding mushrooms back in. Mix in sour cream and flour.

  4. Meanwhile, cook noodles to just before preferred tenderness. Add to sauce mixture and continue cooking until sauce has thickened and noodles are as desired.
