Mushroom, onions carmalized with pork loin chops

Recipe Ingredients for Mushroom-Sauced Pork Chops

4 pork loin chops
1 tablespoon oil
1 onion
2 tablespoons tapioca
10 3/4 oz cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup apple juice
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons fresh thyme
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms

Recipe Directions for Mushroom-Sauced Pork Chops

  1. Trim fat from chops. In a large skillet, heat oil, medium heat. Add chops; cook until brown both sides, drain fat.

  2. In slow cooker layer onion and chops. Use a mortar and pestle, crush tapioca. Combine tapioca, mushroom soup, apple juice, worchestershire sauce, thyme, and garlic powder; stir in mushrooms. pour over chops.

  3. Cover and cook low-heat 8-9 hours, high-heat 4 - 41/2 hours. Serve sauce over chops . Garnish with additional thyme
