Recipe Ingredients for Mushroom Sandwhich

4 oz Mushrooms, Portabella
1/2 oz medium (1/8" thick) Onions
1/4 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Yellow
1/2 oz, medium (1/4" thick) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1/2 oz Leaf Lettuce
1 4/5 oz Bread, White, Commercially Prepared
1/2 ounces Sauce, Barbecue Sauce
1 tsp (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter
1 tsp Olive oil

Recipe Directions for Mushroom Sandwhich

Saute' in oil and butter the onion slice, flattened pepper slice and 4oz mushroom cap over medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Slice lettuce and tomato - assemble the sandwich parts, add BBQ, and grill sandwich whole until toasted, flipping it one time.
